Control Z: Season 3: Netflix Teen TV Series and Its Cast Members

Control Z: Season 3 Update: Carlos Quintanilla Sakar, Adriana Pelusi, and Miguel García Moreno created the Mexican teen drama series ‘Control Z’ for Netflix. When the series began, the plot was disclosed as a series of incidents happening in a National School called Colegio Nacional which are about a hacker bringing out the students’ secrets before everyone.

Control Z: Season 3 Update

These started with the hacker first exposing a student as transgender which caused much humiliation and panic in the student. The day after this act of revealing secrets against the subjects’ consent keeps propagating. In this situation, an introverted teenager named Sofía Herrera is determined to uncover the hacker.

The primary cast members of the series include Ana Valeria Becerril (Sofía Herrera), Michael Ronda, Yankel Stevan, Zión Moreno, Luis Curiel, Mauro Sánchez Navarro, Lidia San José, Samantha Acuña, Fiona Palomo etc. Among them, some of the actors and actresses are quite familiar faces.

The first season of the series premiered on May 22, 2020, on Netflix with the second season arriving on August 4, 2021. The third season was released on July 6, 2022.

Michael Ronda as Javier Williams:

Mexican actor cum singer Michael Ronda Escobosa plays the role of Javier Williams in the series. Born in Mexico, this twenty-five years old actor is the winner of three Kids Choice Awards in 2017 and 2018. He began his tv series acting through the role of Victor in ‘Cada Quien Su santo’ in 2009.

The next year he starred as the younger version of one of the main characters Camilo in the Mexican telenovela ‘La Fuerza del Destino whose English title is ‘The Power of Destiny’. From 2011 to 2015 Ronda played the main role of Poncho in the Mexican anthology series ‘Como dice el dicho’.

Then in Argentine – Mexican telenovela ‘Soy Luna’ he starred as Simón Álvarez from 2016 to 2018. In 2019 Ronda played the role of Eduard in the Spanish biographical series ‘Bronco’.

In 2021 he made a cameo appearance as Diego Boneta in the Spanish language biographical series of America ‘Luis Miguel: The Series. Ronda has another tv series in his queue which is a Mexican comedy series where he will be playing the role of Morgan.

Control Z: Season 3- Zión Moreno as Isabela de la Fuente:

Playing the role of Isabela de la Fuente in ‘Control Z’, American model and actress Zión Moreno, other than for her role in this series, is also known for starring in the 2021 reboot of ‘Gossip Girl’ by HBO Max. Moreno played Fleur in American songwriter and singer Melanie Martinez’s American fantasy horror musical movie ‘K-12’ in 2019.

Since 2021 Moreno has been playing the role of Luna La in the teen series ‘Gossip Girl’ which is the reboot of the same-named series that ran from 2007 to 2012. In four episodes of the American comedy series ‘Claws’, Moreno appeared as Selena from 2021 to 2022.

Control Z: Season 3- Mauro Sánchez Navarro as Bruno:

Another cast member of ‘Control Z’ is the Mexican actor Mauro Sánchez Navarro who is mostly known for his portrayal of Nico in the film ‘This Is Not Berlin’ for which Navarro won the Málaga Spanish Film Festival Award under the category of Best Supporting Actor in 2019.

He starred in the films Como te ves me vi’ in 2017 and ‘This Is Not Berlin’ in 2019 and in the short films ‘El guión’ and ‘Necropolis, They Will Be Ashes But Still Will Feel’ in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

Navarro’s important roles in the tv series include Hugo in seven episodes of the Mexican telenovela ‘La candidate in 2016. In 2018 he appeared in six episodes of the Mexican tv series ‘Atrapada’ and in twenty episodes of ‘Señora Acero’ as Petronilo Godinez.

Lidia San José as Gabriela:

One of the other important characters is Gabriela in ‘Control Z’ is played by Lidia San José. Born in Madrid, San José began her tv series career with the role of Paula in the Spanish sitcom ‘iAy, Señor, Señor!’ through which some other actors and actresses began their acting careers including Javier Cámara and Neus Asensi.

The same year she also appeared in another comedy serial ‘Farmacia de guardia’. In 1996 she acted in ‘La casa de los líos’. San José starred as Eva in the Spanish sitcom ‘iAla… Dina!’. Then in the Spanish comedy series ‘Yo soy Bea’, she starred in 2009. In 2016 she appeared as herself in Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi created the Spanish comedy series ‘Paquita Salas’.

The next year she was cast in the Mexican telenovela ‘Nada personal’ as Natalia del Castillo and the year after that in the American biographical Spanish language series ‘Luis Miguel’ as Ana. She also appeared in other tv series such as ‘A las once en casa’, ‘Diez en Ibiza’ and films titled ‘El Nino invisible’ and ‘Cosas de brujas’.
